Personal Statement
My name is Trevor Frederick. I am a MacMorran Scholar and National Honor's Society member in the class of 2018 at Tilton School. I am a LHP, OF. Ever since I was nine or ten, I have wanted to play baseball in college. I love the sport of baseball and always have. Everything has to come together at the right time and no other sport can match that. I will always work hard on the field and will never give an excuse for making a mistake. I have an immense amount of respect for the game of baseball and believe strongly in playing it the right way, while still doing whatever it takes to win. My competitiveness often is intimidating to people at first but it is something I can not turn off no matter what I am doing, and I feel this allows me to compete at levels outside of my comfort zone.
I have committed myself to playing baseball in college ever since I was little, and I think that shows in my work ethic. I have been recognized as a leader in most everything I do, being named a captain for my senior year on my varsity soccer team, as well as leading on the baseball field and in the classroom. I am either in the weight room, in the cages, or both, pretty much everyday from November til August. I will be playing with Northeast Baseball this year and am looking forward to the new opportunity.
