Nicholas Loffredo '17 Recruiting Profile

I am a student of the game of baseball.  Throughout my short baseball experience, coaches have complimented me on my innate ability to understand the fundamental and strategic aspects of the game. I pride myself on being one play ahead:  positioning myself and my teammates to make the throw, catch or relay.  At the plate, I am aggressive but patient for the right pitch: I make pitchers work. I am versatile, comfortable hitting for power or bunting for a sacrifice or base hit.  

Nobody despises losing more than I; however, I am always a positive force on the field, in the dugout and the classroom.  With the support of my family, I am able to channel my energy into a disciplined training routine that has already paid off.

Leadership on the ball field is only second to my drive for academic excellence. Over the years, I’ve taught myself HOW to study so that I can be successful even in advanced courses.  

I am committed to my goal of leveraging my academic and baseball skills to attend an outstanding school and contribute to a winning baseball program.
