My name is James Santore and I am a Senior at Eastern Regional High School in Voorhees, NJ. I am 5'10 and 170 lbs with a strong frame that enables me to have much power on the mound and at the plate. My grades are mostly A's with one or two B's and a weighted GPA around a 4.0. My SAT score is an 1920 (1250 two-part) and my ACT score is a 27. I am a right-handed pitcher for Eastern High School where I am coached by Rob Christ (856-425-8043, firstname.lastname@example.org), and also pitch for the South Jersey Young Guns where I am coached by Dave Smolenski (856-206-6891, email@example.com). I am number 34 for both teams. I have a 4-seam fastball that sits at around 86-87 mph with a great amount of movement, and I have topped out at 89 mph. My best pitch is my slider that I throw around 76-80 mph that really has the ability to fool hitters, and I am able to throw it for a strike as well as throw it in the dirt. I am currently developing a change-up, cutter, and 2-seam fastball to further enlarge my arsenal of pitches. During the high school season, I was primarily used as the fireman and closer, and helped the team set the school record for wins, which is 22. I have a very good work ethic and I am very intense in my pursuit of success, and I like to use the different tips and tricks different people give me and combining them into a way that helps me have the most success. Here is my YouTube channel with some of my highlight videos: http://www.youtube.com/user/santore43?feature=mhee#p/u I am planning on majoring in Political Science and eventually getting my law degree. I do not have a specific type of school that I am interested in and any school that has a combination of strong academics and a good baseball program would be a good fit for me. I would like to play on a team where I could make an instant impact, and if that is not possible, to be provided with the coaching to mend me into an impact player for the time I am ready.
