Ever since I was 5 years old I have been playing baseball. I see baseball not only as a game, but as my life. Ever since a young age I have been a leader, and I believe that leadership all started from the sport of baseball. I don't only play the sport because I have the last name DiMaggio or because I am related to the Yankee Clipper himself. I play the sport because it is fun. There is no other way to put it other than I enjoy playing. I give 110% out on the field and never give up no matter the circumstances. I put up a fight until the last out and I believe that is what sets me apart from the crowd. I am looking to play wherever my skill takes me. I want to play at a higher level that not only offers a great team but also great academics that I am suited for. My ultimate goal is to play Major League Baseball and even after that play baseball for the rest of my life. I take pride in how I carry myself on and off the field by doing community service, holding a high GPA, and being in all Honors and AP courses. Challenging myself and pushing myself to the absolute limit is what will turn me into the player/person that I would like to be.
