Liam McEntee '16 Recruiting Profile

My goals in baseball is to play Major League Baseball.  Even though every kid says that, I have small goals to get to my main goal.  Some small goals are 12-15HR's my senior year,  15+ stolen bases, win the Home run derby at the International Power showcase at Marlins Stadium, be first team all state, first team all district, first team all city, first team All American, and being able to relax and make my decision on where I want to play ball.  I'd be a good candidate for any team because even though there are workouts and training coaches have planned out, I workout everyday working on my quickness, my velocity, and my hitting.  What makes me different is MLB has been my goal since I was 7.  I've dedicated most of my life to baseball to get better everyday.  I push my self to failure in the weight room, I kill my legs doing stairs and sprints,  I go through 3-4 buckets of hitting every other day filming and perfecting my swing. Academically, its hard for me.  I try 100%, I focus as much as possible in the class room,  and I study when I can (when I'm not in the gym or batting cages).
