I'm a 6'1", 205 pound athlete from Jacksonville, North Carolina. I started playing baseball when I was 8 years old when we lived in Southern California when my dad was stationed there with the Marine Corps. So being a Military Child, I learned early on how to face adversity and "grow where planted", having to move several times over the years until my dad finally retired after 24 years of service. Prior to baseball, I raced motocross. I started competitively racing motocross when I was 3 years old and continued racing till I was 8 years old. My passion for baseball formed when I went to my very first Major League game and watched the Anaheim Angels play the Colorado Rockies. From that moment on, all I wanted to do was play baseball and learn as much about the game that I could. The skills I developed while racing aided me in my transition over to the ballfield such as hand-eye coordination, reaction time, and critical thinking. I have learned that perfection is a continuing quest and that is what I love most about baseball because nothing is ever routine. Baseball has also provided me with the internal drive to succeed in school and do my best in all my studies no matter how difficult and demanding they can be. With that I would love the opportunity to play baseball in college like my older brother while majoring in Exercise Science.
