Every game took place at Craven Stadium, in Ramseur, NC with a Prep Baseball Report scout in attendance. In an effort to continue to cover and report on high school baseball players across the state, PBR was able to write-up each game and push content to several social media platforms. Below are a group of players that stood out during the weekend for different reasons. Several pitchers and position players have made jumps from where they were last summer and the numbers definitely reflect their growth. 2020s at the PBR Summer Kickoff Tanner Martin, OF, Foard High School, 2020 Large frame at 6 foot 4, 195 lbs with athletic potential in the OF. Compact swing that plays to all fields. Stays through the zone, generates power from a tall back side that collapses to the zone as swing starts. Lots of pop. Moves well for size, running 4.43 home to first. Projects as a middle of the lineup corner OF.
