Personal Statement
Baseball is in my blood and has shaped my life from the time I was 3 years old. It has given me the opportunity to compete and made me who I am today. It has taught me how hard you have to work for something like this, and that's what I do. I work hard and give my all around best effort, and I think this makes me a great asset for your team. I can't remember a time in my life when I didn't play baseball.
I have the opportunity to play high school baseball and American Legion baseball as well. I've played on the freshman team and on the JV team as a sophomore in high school baseball. I played in the Babe Ruth World Series as the host team two summers ago, and this last summer I played on the JV team for the American Legion team.
I consistently train to make myself better. I am in the weight room everyday and I'm the batting cages and on the mound as much as I can. My passion to play this sport past high school is what pushes me to work hard day in and day out.
I would bring good character, a tough attitude, and good qualities. I am very easy to get along with and respect and form excellent relationships with coaches. I am always as positive as I can be and am always trying to learn and enjoy taking direction. Baseball has helped with a lot of this.
I am looking for school that I can not only play baseball but ensure I will have a solid plan for my future. I am looking for way to get the best education I can get while living out the dream of playing college baseball.
