Giovanni Piroddi '16 Recruiting Profile

I would like to go to college and further my education with a degree in engineering. While pursuing my education I would like to fulfill my dream of playing college baseball. I would be a great candidate for any team because I am a leader. I have been taking honors classes and A.P. classes throughout my high school career. During the last three years of high school, I have received four Varsity letters; two for baseball and two for wrestling. I played football my Freshman and Sophomore year, wrestled Freshman and Sophomore year, and played baseball Freshmen through Junior year. My Senior year will include wrestling and baseball.

For the past seven years, I have been a Youth Wrestling coach for the Nomads Wrestling Club (part of USA Nevada Wrestling).  I am a mentor for the High Desert Little League, assisting with teams practices as well as running batting practice for all players.  I have been a Junior Coach for the Fernley Youth Football League for the past four years as well as a volunteer to the league itself; helping with improvements to the facility.  Also, I volunteer my time with the local senior center.
