My goals are to play baseball at the collegiate level and graduate from college in a good position to succeed in life. I have had much success on the baseball field, hitting over .400 last travel season. I've always been a plus defensive catcher and I can play infield when need be. I am also a very hard worker and have strived to become the best baseball player I can possibly be. I always give everything that I have every single game and I am very dedicated to off-season training.
Off the field, I am just as dedicated and have always been advanced in the class room. I have enrolled in AP and honors classes since my freshmen year while at the same time playing three sports and participating in music ensembles.
Also, I am not a product of the private, baseball travel system, and therefore have avoided quite a bit of the hyper "me" centered aspects of today's travel teams. I have always played community based baseball (eg, Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, American Legion). While this may have limited some of my exposure for recruiting, it has helped show me what is important. It has shaped how I approach being on a team and what being a teammate is all about.
With my experience, skill set and academic profile, I think I would be a welcome addition to a team.
