Luis Ramos '15 Recruiting Profile

I am a high school senior at All Hallows high school. My high school is one of the Top 50 catholic high school in the united states. I love the sport baseball because it has taught me a tremenedous amount of things. I have always worked hard on and off the field, and i will continue to do that at whatever college i attend this upcoming fall. I have always been a team player, and always put wins and loses over HR's and SB. My high school varsity coach once told me "its not the letters on the back of the jersey, but the letters on the front". That has stayed with me ever since. I don't work hard to put up crazy stats, i work hard so that my teammates around become better players. My Sophomore year i was chosen to be captain of my JV team because I am a leader and i make those around me better. I push my teammates to the limit because i am only as strong as my team. 

I have been a catcher since i was 13 and there is no other position like it. I like to be the captain of the field, no one sees the field the way i do and no one calls the game but me. I only know how to play and practice the game one way and that's giving it 110%.  I hope you enjoy what you see and i hope that I will be the next catcher at you college.
