Personal Statement
My ultimate goal in pursuing college is two fold. In the classroom, I want to obtain, and keep, a solid GPA. I am very interested in law enforcement and look forward to pursuing that. On the field, I want to be a winner. I want to be one of those players that stand out to everyone. I want to be a good teammate. I feel that my ability and drive make me an excellent candidate. I am an extremely hard worker and I will do whatever it takes to be successful. I am not afraid of a challenge. I am a coachable player. I seek out and listen to advice and ideas on how to improve. I will never give up. I am not a quitter; no matter what the score is, no matter what the situation is. I can be stubborn when it comes to putting forth 100% until the very end. Playing baseball at the collegiate level has always been a goal of mine. I have stayed focused on that goal. Even now, I am willing to do whatever it takes. I come in before school to work out, and I will always stay after practice to continue working. I am the last one to leave. I will continue this work ethic both in the classroom and on the field in college.
