Declan Cronin '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Declan Cronin, and I am a junior at Regis High School in Manhattan, NY (to which I commute daily from New Jersey). Academics are of the utmost importance to me. I wish to continue playing baseball at a high level, and to continue studying at a school with academic rigor. In my freshman and sophomore years, I played Junior Varsity (captain as a sophomore). I have also played two seasons of fall baseball with my school’s Varsity team. I was the team’s ace in my sophomore year, getting the ball in all key starts. In my junior season, I took a spot at the top of the rotation on Varsity. This summer I played for the NJ Nationals. I carry myself as a leader both on and off the field, and I am as involved as possible in other school activities such as retreat leadership, mentoring, and writing for literary publications.
