Junior Malinoski '15 Recruiting Profile

I am a dynamic, exciting and well rounded baseball player that would like to play college baseball and earn a college degree.  I'm currently a Junior at Indian River High School located in Philadelphia, NY I have been playing HS Varsity baseball as a starter since the 8th grade. I usually bat in the two or three spot. My primary position is Short Stop but, I also play Second Base, Third base, Catcher and pitch in relief. I throw right and bat right and on occasion I can bat from the left side of the plate.  I’ve been playing organized baseball since I was three years old. I’ve played in Europe, Canada and the US. A major part of my development occurred in the US. For the Summer of 2013 my club team will be the Brockville, Bunnies Elite Baseball club. They are located Just North of Watertown, NY in Ontario, Canada.

Throughout my sports career my peers, teachers, and coaches  recognize me as a leader and as one of the hardest working students and baseball players that they know. I am always the first to arrive at the baseball field for practice or a game and the last to leave. I know that commitment and hard work are critical to success in life both on and of the baseball field. I pride myself on demonstrating the consistent work ethic required to grow academically and athletically.

Other sports that I play are Soccer and Basketball. I have developed confidence, discipline, respect, enthusiasm, and a fierce determination to compete, persevere and succeed. Although I play three sports, my dedication and commitment goes to baseball.

I’m searching for a place that I can play baseball and be both a motivator and a leader for my team. I also hope to bring the best baseball that I can play and be a positive role model for my team.
