Christopher Sachak '10 Recruiting Profile

I am now beginning my senior year at McGann Mercy High School in Riverhead, New York. I am now concentrating on pursuing colleges that suit me and my personal long time goals. I have realized that my career goals are very important to me and have been spending time looking into colleges where I can obtain a degree in Education as well as a college where I can play competitive Baseball. Playing competitive college baseball is important to me. I feel that my love for the game of baseball, the knowledge I posses in regards to baseball, and my athletic ability would make an impact on a team. I also have a very strong desire to become an Elementary School teacher. I feel there is a need for more male teachers and am hoping I can make a difference in childrens lives. Although I am now attending a high school with a small enrollment, I am open to attending a larger size institution. Ideally, I would like to live at college, but stay close to home. Financial assistance is important to me and I would be open to traveling farther to a school that would offer more financial assistance
