Personal Statement
I exemplify the highest character, honesty, sportsmanship and integrity. There is no glory in cheating. You have to play hard and win the right way because playing the right way is just as important as winning. My combination of athletic ability and intelligence about the game is what makes me different from other players. I know the game and carry my intelligence and work ethic from the classroom onto the field and use it to out-think the hitters and baserunners. Knowing what to do and how to react gives me an edge on the field. I have been a top student in elementary school and high school and will strive to continue my academic excellence in college. There is no difference in the classroom or on the field. You have to work hard to be successful. My goal is to continue working hard and be successful in the classroom and on the field at the collegiate level.
