Personal Statement
Driven, team player, leader, humble, dedicated. These are a few of the attributes I can offer a college level baseball program. My athletic experiences (playing baseball and football since age 5) have helped me gain knowledge, overcome adversity and grow in skill and strength. My Dad always taught me to play hard every play, and I've kept that advise in mind every time I'm on the field. It's important to me to be a part of a team that can work hard together, compete to win and enjoy playing the game. It's my dream to play college baseball because I love the game. I want to continue to grow and learn from these experiences.
A great academic program is equally important to me as the athletic program. I'm determined to raise my high school g.p.a. to a 3.5 or higher. I've been working harder in my studies every day to achieve this goal. Exercise, and the right type of exercise, has played a big role in my training for baseball. Physiology is especially interesting to me. My plan is to earn a degree in Exercise Science because I want to help people the way I've been helped. I'm hoping to continue my education earning a graduate degree as a Physicians Assistant.
