William Edwards '17 Recruiting Profile

Hello,

     My name is Will Edwards.  I am 17 years of age. I am currently in 12th grade. I have grown up in an SEC family and many have played college sports. My father was a wrestler at the University of Tennessee. My cousin was tight end at Tulane. My uncle was a linebacker at Georgia Tech.  My great-grandfather was in the hall of fame at LSU for 3 sports.  My family lived overseas for half of my life and the two constant sports were baseball and soccer. I now play baseball, football, and hockey but baseball is the sport I love.  Their are always things that you can learn and you can continue to get better at baseball.  It is a mental sport. You have to commit and you have to work at it. I like getting better. I work on it all year long and I play at IMG all summer. I would live there and play baseball all day every day if I could. I am going to a school (Summit Country Day) that will push me academically and my grades will continue to improve.  Baseball is my life. It was what I love. I want to play college baseball and will do what ever it takes because I want to go as far as I possibly can with this sport.
