Personal Statement
My name is Kyle Carleton and I am a Sophomore Lakewood High School. I have been playing baseball since I was 4 years old. I am very excited in having the chance to play college baseball. I play Center Field, Catcher and i am a relief pitcher. I have been dreaming of playing at the College level and higher since I was a little kid. I am currently 5’09 and 170 pounds. Going into my freshmen year I was not the strongest kid on my team and I didn’t have the best arm either. During this year, I have worked my hardest into become a stronger, faster, and better athlete. I currently bench 185 pounds and squat 305 pounds. I plan on getting stronger, faster, and better so I can be the best I can be. I’m not afraid to do my best every day. My dream is to get a baseball scholarship then work my way up from there. During my baseball years at what college I go to, I wish to win National Championships and more. If baseball does not work out, I have a plan B. I want to become an athletic trainer. I think it would be an incredible opportunity to work with athletes and their injuries. In the mean time during my High School baseball seasons, I Will get better. My plan in High School I wish to win the Athlete of the Week award in my division. I will continue to work on my mechanics as a pitcher and catcher in the meantime. No matter where baseball takes me, I will always be committed to doing my best 24/7.
