Hayden Higginbotham '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Hayden Higginbotham, I currently attend Logan Elm High School located in Circleville, Ohio where I am a Senior. I take honors classes and have achieved high marks on my end of year course exams. I've been a part of the varsity baseball team for my four high school seasons. I primarily play 1st and 3rd but have done some pitching in the end of games. I can also catch but have been laying off of it due to a small knee problem. However, that hasn't prevented me from earning a varsity letter in baseball, as well as in football during the fall, where I play tight end and am a team captain. For the last three summer baseball seasons I've been a part of American Legion Post 757 and been exposed to some very high level competition. In regards to my future plans for college, I've found that I'd like to go into either the Exercise Science program or Athletic Training program. I'd like to play at the next level to be able to have a chance to gain invaluable life experience and to be able to find a way to get an education with which I can improve the lives of others. Recently (July 2017) I have torn my ACL and PCL and I am currently recovering from surgery. I will post a video of my skills as soon as I gain clearance to do so.
