Daniel Byrd '19 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coaches and Scouts,

My name is Daniel Byrd I'm 16 years old and currently a Junior at St. Edward High School, in Lakewood Ohio. At school I hold a 3.88 GPA, and after high school I plan to go to college for either Business or Law. I don't mind where the location of the college is, but the career's the college offers is a big deal. College is not just a next step in my life, it is an opportunity to earn the degree that will help me get to wherever I want to go in life.

Baseball has been a huge part in my life, which is why I plan to play for the baseball team while I am attending college. I primarily play CF, but I'm willing to play anything you need me to play. Off the field I am a very caring, and family orientated person. I try spend as much time as I can with my family when I'm not practicing or studying. Also I always try to find a way to help someone in need. On the field though, I'm there to play for my school, my team, my family and myself. When I run out on the diamond, you can always expert a person who will give 110% till the last out as well as a person who will represent the name on the front of his jersey and the back.
