My name is Jace Christopher. Primarily I pitch submarine/sidearm and play second base. Over the past two years I've been pitching submarine/sidearm and have produced good outcomes from this pitching style but I've also thrown overhand for a majority of my baseball career. This being kind of a weird style of pitching gets a lot of ground balls, and easy plays to make in the field, making it very beneficial for any college baseball team. Now I know I'm not the biggest pitcher or even the strongest athlete but being able to pitch this style at any height or weight is very funky. Goals I have for myself in college would simply be to make a name for myself playing baseball, and to graduate with a degree. Many things make me different, not just as a person but as a baseball player, I'm a very friendly person and can spark a conversation with about anyone I could meet. Also I'm a very laid back person that doesn't get very frustrated if something goes wrong, with these two characteristics making friends anywhere I go is very easy. When it comes down to academics I'm enrolled in all Pre-AP and AP courses except for math, so don't let the unweighted GPA show you what I can really do. I learn at a fast pace and can pick up things that some people can't because I think on what the effects will be on things, this applies to baseball also being that I know what's going on in the game and what things that would occur. If I could characterize myself I would say that I'm a very strong pitcher and an overall good person that would love to go to any college that fit my interests.
