My name is Tyler Garner, and I have played Baseball for a little over 10 years now. I am 5'11, 180 pounds. Growing up baseball has always been my favorite sport and it was the first sport I learned to play. My Dad and Grandpa also played baseball as well. My Grandpa played for the Yankees and My dad had been drafted by the Texas Rangers. It's always been my dream to go to college and play at the collegiate level, and maybe even one day in the big leagues. I wouldn't really care what college I attended to play baseball at, I just wanna play baseball at the collegiate level. It doesn't really matter the size of the school, or division level I just want the chance to play. Pretty much the only way I am going to be able to go is if I can get some sort of scholarship for both sports and academics to help pay for the costs, because If not then we would have to take out loans and we don't really wanna do something like that. While in college I wanna major in Wildlife Management. I just love the outdoors. I love hunting, fishing, camping, and basically just about anything that envolves being outside, which is why I would like to major In this field. In High school I was on the varsity squad as a Freshman, and I got to start a few games, as a Sophomore I was the starter for Center field at first , but then later moved to right field, as a Junior I was the starter in right field once again and pitched a little more then I had before, and the senior season hasn't started yet, but I will most likely be back out in right field, and I will be relied on to pitch even more this season. I'm really just looking forward to hopefully getting a scolarship and playing college ball and fulfilling my dream. I've worked so hard the past couple years to help improve myself to help better my chances whether it's been from working out, doing my best in practice, and even doing my best in the classroom, and I will continue to try to improve myself everyday because this is a very important oppotunity and I wanna seize it.
