As you already know my name is Anthony Boccio. I would like you to know the type of young man I am. Collegiately I want to play competative baseball at a high level school that is a great fit for both of us. I am a student of the game of baseball, dedicated to the sport and to the teams I play on. I hustle on and off the field, win or lose with my head up and always looking to improve on my skills. Academicly I am an "A" student who loves all aspects of school and know with my academics and baseball skills I will succeed. - 01/29/2017 - College PREP - Mechanicsburg (Harrisburg), PA Anthony is a lean SS and has a promising future on the diamond. At the plate is where he shows best through an open setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields flashing gap-to-gap pop. In the MIF, he displays clean/athletic actions. Feet are aggressive as he attacks balls and presents a soft/sure glove well out front. He shows off his athletic abilities on his turn/feeds of the double play. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program.
