Personal Statement
For the past eight years I have played at a high level of competition. In 2009 competed in the USSSA Elite 32 in Disney, finishing 5th, as the starting second baseman for the Lehigh Valley Stealth. At 14 spent the summer in the IMG wood bat league and the winter with Diamond Nation Diamond Jacks. Missed my freshman year, due to a football injury. As a sophomore, split time between left field and second base for the Northampton High School varsity squad. Went 12 for 40 in the lead off spot,7 RBIs, 4 stolen bases and only 4 Ks. As a junior, began the season at second base, then moved to short-stop mid-season. Hit .347 for the season and .417 for the four game post season. Received All Conference and All Area recognition, Lehigh Valley Carpenter Cup selection and Select Fest invite. This summer I m with the Diamond Nation "Diamond Jacks 17U Gold" competing in various showcase venues along the east coast. I hope to play College Baseball somewhere in the northeast, meshing a good fit of academics and athletics. I'm comfortable at several positions, experienced against top talent and flexible to different coaching styles.
