Personal Statement
My name is Sam Aslansan and I am from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. My goal is to get in to a great university and play baseball while getting a great education. I'm a junior at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy. I am an Honors Student and a leader on and off the field. I have been the starting catcher on my high school varsity team since my freshman year. I was named an Under Armour Pre-Season All-American by Baseball Factory for three consecutive years. I was also selected to represent the North Atlantic Team for USA Baseball NTIS for three consecutive years. I play for Gallagher-Mizuno Baseball in the summer and fall. I take my academics and baseball very seriously, and work hard to overcome any weaknesses in both. I try to get in a baseball workout every day whether it's with my club team, my school team or a one-on-one coaching session to develop myself into the player I want to be. If you give me the opportunity, I will not let you down.
