Alek Tesla '16 Recruiting Profile

Baseball has changed my life. I've been playing since I can remember. It was really in minor league that I discovered my dream. I am a competitor and I want to play against the best teams and athletes. I love the game and its history. In the future, I am focused on getting better with fundamentals and sticking the game. I am looking forward to the future, but yet staying in the moment of every practice, every game, and every pitch. I am a teammate who really encourages the togetherness of a baseball team as a family. I will pick up my teammates and bring an energy that will encourage anybody to be the best that they can truly be. Baseball has been the biggest factor in my life and I am willing to build on my potential as a ballplayer and a person. As for secondary education, I am looking for majors that have a background with the energy industry (natural gas) and I am very excited for this. The Marcellus Shale boom in western Pennsylvania has influenced my choices on schools to look for and I am seeking to find employment within this economical up rise that natural gas has brought my area.
