Carter Waligura '16 Recruiting Profile

Hi!  I am Carter Waligura and I am currently going into my Senior year at Uniontown High School located in Uniontown, PA.  I play a variety of sports but baseball is my passion. I am a versatile player that can play any position except pitching but I prefer middle infield.  My real talent is in consistent hitting - I put the ball in play!  I have always known that I would go to college.  Since a very early age my parents have instilled in me the importance of a good education.  The thought of playing a sport in college took a little more consideration though.  It is a significant commitment that I do not take lightly.  After careful consideration, I came to the conclusion that I could not pass up the opportunity to at least try to play the game at the next level – really in any capacity that is an active playing role.  Of course my education comes first which means that the first criteria is the school has to be a really good engineering school in my field of study.  Right now, I have narrowed that down to aerospace, oil and gas (energy) or chemical.  I am excited about the opportunity to play baseball at the next level and I am looking forward to selection process.  My current high school coach is Ken Musko and his number is 724-366-2914. My academic standing is that I am rated 1/229 and my goal is to finish high school with one semester of college credit complete.
