Personal Statement
Playing in Pennsylvania AAA District 10 playoffs has definitely been my favorite moment of baseball in my high school career. This took place last year when I was a sophomore starting on varsity. Over the two years I have been playing, I have improved academically and athletically. At the end of my sophomore year, I achieved a scholar athlete award for having a 4.0 grade point average. Playing baseball and basketball in high school for the past two years has taught me how to be a team player, how to be committed to my sport, and how to balance academics along with athletics. With only two years left of high school baseball, I am ready to more prepare myself as a great scholar athlete so I can achieve to my best ability in college.
I am looking to find a program that I can be successful academically as well as athletically. I believe that academics is just as important if not more important as athletics in college. For any college, I think I have what it takes to compete at a high level due to my work-ethic, leadership, and understanding of the game. As a two- sport varsity athlete, I would love to get a chance to be a part of an organization that can make high goals for me athletically and academically.
