Hello Coaches and Scouts:
I am a multi-sport athlete and have been my whole life. Dedication, hard work and discipline are major themes for me. I gained these qualities throughout six years of intense training to earn my black belt in Tang Soo Do. These traits are a great foundation for me both on and off the field.
Upon graduation, I hope to play for a very competitive NCAA program. However, I am striving to compete at the DI level. I plan on majoring in business/finance in effort to become the CEO of a major corporation. I express great leadership qualities that will make me ideal for the job. I received the role of captain for many of my teams including my 7th through 9th grade basketball team, travel baseball team and club soccer team. I communicate very effectively on and off the field, always keeping my head in the game and my competition level fierce.
I have sustained a 3.7 GPA throughout my high school career, challenging myself with honors and AP courses. As I enter into my junior year, I have already met all of the Keystone exam requirements for graduation. I have also completed 3 years of Spanish. I am a very well rounded student, as I am also a participant in band and chorus.
Each winter I am responsible for instructing clinics for our local youth basketball association. Our varsity teams also run summer youth camps for young soccer and basketball athletes. I am enthusiastic about giving back to the community that has given me countless opportunities.
Although I am an asset to all three of my high school teams, (soccer, basketball and baseball), baseball is what I strive to play in college. I started varsity at my quad A high school my sophomore year. In addition to my school practices each night I hit up to 200 balls off the tee or in the cage as well as weight lift. I do what is necessary on and off the field to be an elite level athlete. This includes a strict diet, free of gluten, dairy and minimal sugar.
As a result of my hard work, I have been selected to: 2014 Connie Mack state all-star game, 2014 Keystone state games, 2015 Legion underclassman showcase and 2015 Legion All-star game. “When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, then you’ll be successful.” Eric Thomas
