Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Eli White. I am a 6’1 foot 225 pound Catcher/RHP/Shortstop that loves to play the game. I go to a private Christian school in Greenwood, South Carolina where I start at shortstop, and hit anywhere from 3-5 in the lineup. I also started at catcher in a Varsity playoff game as an 8th grader. I believe that I am a great person on and off the field, and that I show my faith through everyone I interact with.
I’ve been playing baseball since I was five years old and my passion for the game has not stopped growing. One of my greatest accomplishments is being the starting catcher for a 2-time state champion Little League All Star team. I’ve grown a lot from little league to where I am now. One thing I think college coaches will like about me is my drive to get better and improve. I’m willing to work, and do the extra things to improve as a person, player, and for my team. I would love to go to a school in the South or East, where I can major in Sports Management. I am ready to begin my recruiting process and to start my path to my goal of becoming a professional baseball player.
