Anyone who knows me will say baseball is my passion. Playing baseball at the collegiate level has been a lifelong dream where I know I can contribute to my team and have fun doing it. I want to be challenged academically and plan to earn my degree in a business / analytics field of study. After college I want to pursue a career in the baseball industry. I was asked by my coach to assist him coaching Little League and love the idea of becoming a coach in the future. I am smart on and off the field, a leader pushing others forward, and a competitor with the drive to win!
I was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout, BSA's highest honor, in January 2019. I will graduate in 2019 taking all honors and IB classes and achieving all A's. I have volunteered for Miracle League, Habitat, for flood relief in my community, and I am active at my church and the Myrtle Beach HS Young Life group. I have had the privilege of traveling through much of the country with my family and have built a strong bond with them through our shared experiences!
I am a starting pitcher for my summer ball and school ball teams. I have great command of the strike-zone and continue to increase my velocity. I am conditioning daily to improve my stamina and strength and expect my 17 yr 7 mo, 6’ 5” frame to continue growing after I graduate.

- Finished season with 2 wins 0 losses as a starting pitcher with WHIP 1.62 facing 82 batters striking out 14 with only 8 earned runs. At my secondary position, First Base, I started 6 games playing 53 innings with 30 Putouts with 9 assist and only 3 errors. At the plate I experienced a minor slump at the beginning of the season however finished strong with 4 singles, 2 doubles and 6 walks while generating 6 RBIs. My OBP was 429 with slugger percentage of 364!
- 2016 Akadema Central (NC) (Showcase)
- Showcase team that played tournaments at Pfeiffer University, Wingate College, and Methodist University. I finished the season leading the team as a pitcher with 17 Ks while holding a strike percentage of 61% and throwing first pitch strikes 67% of the time. At the plate I was the 3rd leading batter finishing with an OBP of 500 and an AVG of 333.

- I played for the Fire Antz for two full seasons and was the teams leading starting pitcher. My secondary position was 1st base but also did some rotations at 3rd.

- Team finished 3rd in State playoffs, defeating the #1 and #2 seeds of the tournament before being knocked out in the semi final game by the #1 seed.

- Pitching training from Don Koonce (6 Yrs MLB Minor League affiliates) (Scout - MLSB). Coach Koonce has been instrumental in my development as a starting pitcher. Working with me from the ranks of Little League to where I am today. He taught me the varying pitches, my particular 'over-head' technique along with instruction for demeanor and behavior on the mound. Though I have received some instruction by others, Coach Koonce's effort propelled me to have an opportunity to play at a higher level with confidence.

- Coach Royal (NC State 1970 - 1073) has been my hitting coach since 2014. He changed my hitting style due to my physical size to a more aggressive power hitting technique. With extensive tee work and live pitching, my batting average has remained consistently in the 300's!
