Personal Statement
My goals for my future are to be the hardest working teammate I can be. I want to lead by example, and show that the work you put in both your classwork and field work will pay off in the end.
My freshman year started off slow on the field, and in the classroom. After my freshman year I told myself that I was going to change that and I would never let that happen again. I trained and studied all year, and it paid off. I came back better than ever my sophomore year when I batted .486 AVG. and 7 of my 14 semester grades were A's. I was happy with my sophomore year but I knew I could do even better. I studied and trained harder than I ever have during my junior year. I had my best season on the field where I batted a .537 AVG. and had a .612 OBP. I also had my best year of school my junior year where 12 of my 13 semester grades where A's. I am looking forward to keep pushing myself each and every year like I have been when I reach college. I want fans to appreciate me on the field, and teachers to appreciate me in the classroom.
