Personal Statement
Baseball has been a part of my life since I was four years old. I have played travel ball for over ten years. I have played with the Memphis Tigers (Griggs) team for the last 4 years. In high school, I started as catcher my freshman and sophomore years at Trinity. I have also played outfield and DH when needed. Some of my best accomplishments to date are 2018 All District Tournament, 2018 All Region Tournament, 2018 TCA Hitter of the Year, 2018 Prep Baseball Report Super Freshman, 2018 Jackson Sun Top 15 Rising Sophomores, 2019 All District Tournament Team, 2019 All Region Tournament, 2019 Prep Baseball Report Super Sophomore, 2019 Jackson Sun Sports Moment of the Year #5 Zachary Tims walk off double in the 8th inning to send TCA to State.
I desire to play college baseball and push myself to get better everyday. I am self motivated to be the best I can be. I think that what sets me apart from other catchers is my ability to stay calm under pressure. I can step up in big games, but I take each game seriously. I have a strong desire to win and be the best version of myself. I easily pick up on my pitcher’s strengths and weaknesses and will work to make them better. If you are looking for a catcher I would love to work out for you or send you additional film.
