Personal Statement
Rogers Hornsby once said:”People ask me what I do in winter when there’s no baseball. I’ll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring.” I could say the same. When I am not playing baseball, I am preparing and /or practicing for my next chance to play the game. My greatest lesson learned is play hard whether it is my best game or an off-day. I have been a varsity infield starter since my freshmen year. I have been the starting short stop for the Lawrence County Wildcats since my sophomore year. I was awarded 2018 8-AAA-All District Team. I love working with and mentoring kids, sharing my love of the game, and being an assistant coach for our local Babe Ruth organization. I am also an active member in my church youth group. I currently have a 3.5 GPA. My future plans are to attend college, of course play baseball, and possibly major in Accounting.
