Personal Statement
I just love baseball so much. I started playing tball at age 4, and have played every season possible since then. I began my select ball career at age 9 where my dad coached me. I was the leader of that team not because my dad was the coach, but simply because I wanted to lead the team in the right way. I feel like I am a great leader because I set an example of hard work and integrity on and off the field. I also bring good character, and I get along with people well. I am very coachable and love getting any kind of advice from my coaches to help me become a better player and man. My strong desire to continually improve at what I love gives me the motivation to constantly work hard- both athletically and academically.
I know that I will be a great player and teammate; and most of all - leader at your school. I am about 5’10 and 190 pounds and still growing ; with 90 mph exit velocity. I also have a 3.3 GPA. I am approaching my first season of high school ball, but played 3 years of middle school baseball at my school. I’ve always dreamed of playing college baseball, and I’ve worked and will continue to work very hard to try to make those dreams come true. I believe God instilled this dream in me along with a strong aptitude for baseball.
I preferably want to play at any school anywhere in Texas, or states bordering Texas. My family is very important to me which is why I want to be close enough where they can come and support me. I would like to study psychology or business. One of my main goals is to play at the highest level possible, and work as hard as hard as I can to improve my baseball skills.
