Personal Statement

I'm a 18 year old, 5'10'"170 pound senior (2017) who plays middle infield. I'm a reliable middle infielder who possesses a passion for competition, and the game. I feel like I'm a top of the lineup type hitter who hits for high average, and who plays consistent middle infield. I've been playing club ball since I was 6 (10 years). I was a team captain, who pushes other teammates to get better on and off the field. Since a kid, my drive has always been to make it as far as I can. I am very committed to baseball, by spending constant hours getting better, rather than hanging out with my friends or going to parties. I couldn't live with myself knowing there was something I could have done to be a better baseball player, that's why I have to hold myself, and my teammates accountable. I've lived in Texas my whole life, but the thing about living in Texas is that it prepares you for all types of weather. That being said, I could see myself playing anywhere and make an immediate contribution. Right now, I am attending a 6A high school, which is the biggest of the biggest schools, and our baseball district was ranked the 2nd toughest district in the nation. So, I believe that I could play at a high collegiate level given the competition i have already faced. As an athlete, my goals are to be a contributor to a team wherever I go, while playing at the highest level as possible. Thank you for your time.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
