Personal Statement
As a student athlete, I want to obtain a reputable education and excel in playing baseball at the college level simultaneously. I take my schoolwork very seriously as demonstrated by my GPA and am willing to put in the extra hours of study to accomplish my scholastic goals. I am enrolled in both Honors and AP classes to challenge myself. Outside of the classroom, I dedicate numerous hours weekly working on and improving my baseball skills in order to advance to the collegiate level. I have a competitive spirit about me that drives my desire to be better each day and give my maximum effort in all that I do. I am a huge team player who believes a team's performance wins championships, not an individual's performance. I do whatever I can to support my team, and lift one another up to help reach each other's full potential. I am a leader both on and off the field and value this characteristic as I know it will help me be successful later on in life.
