Personal Statement
My name is Zack Patton and I have always had a dream of playing baseball at the next level and it would be exceptional if I could play the game that I love in college while getting a quality education. I am a hard working individual and strive for perfection. I have a bulldog mentality on the mound and a "get after you" attitude when I pitch. I play the game with confidence and respect. I am a team player and try to do the best for my team. Everyday I work to become a better ball player and teammate. My family has instilled in me that education is the most important thing. Getting a degree is very important to my family and I. School comes first in my household and I am a determined individual not only on the baseball field, but in the classroom as well.
I am currently being coached by Coach Emerick Jagneaux who is the head varsity coach at The Woodlands Christian Academy. Coach Jagneaux has over 34 years of high school and college coaching experience. He was head varsity coach at Deer Park High school in TX and has lead them to various titles. He was also an assistant coach at the University of Southwestern Louisiana, Wharton County Jr College and Lamar University. His accomplishments at the collegiate level include four conference championships.
Thank you for taking the time in showing interest in me.
