Personal Statement
My goal for playing baseball at the collegiate level is to grow as a person and become the best player and teammate I can be and push others to do the same. I want us to win a national championship and create a winning culture. What sets me apart from other recruits is my work ethic. I will never stop trying until I accomplish my goals. I am very competitive and hate to lose. When it comes to pressure moments and the stakes are high, you can rely on me to get the job done. Many players shy away from pressure moments, I thrive in these moments and find them the most fun part of the game. I am a team player and will always put the team first no matter what. I do not cause trouble on or off the field. I get along very well with other teammates and will want to push them to their highest potential, because when everyone is pushed to their highest potential, they all perform well. I learn from my mistakes rather than get down on myself, due to this, I feel that my baseball IQ has benifited greatly from it. I take my education very seriously. I keep my grades up in order to play the game I love. I am very unhappy with myself when I get grades below a mid B. Baseball is my life!
