Personal Statement
I first picked up a baseball when I was around 3 years old as I watched my dad coach my older siblings. I spent countless hours helping shag balls at practices and hanging out in the dugout during games. I couldn't wait for it to be my turn. When the time finally came, it was even better than I could have imagined. Just as he did with my siblings, my dad was going to embark on this journey with me as my coach. Teaching me patience, endurance, teamwork, and respect along the way; what began as father son/bonding soon grew into something more. I soon learned that baseball is my passion. I play year round to make sure I stay in shape. When the spring season comes, I give 110% in practice and games. Not to mention off the field as well. I strive to maintain a high GPA as well as getting involved in school activities (UIL, student council) and the community (church, volunteering).
