Personal Statement
>My dream is to play baseball at the highest competitive level I can for as long as I can while earning my degree. I am an intense player who wants to help my team wherever I am needed, and I will contribute to the best of my ability. I have been fortunate throughout my baseball career thus far, and have personal baseball and higher education goals, which I plan on attaining. Desiring a degree helped me realize my personal aspirations for baseball. My freshman year, I ranked among the top 20 in the state in HRs, RBIs, and BA. I realized I have a God-given talent, and I must use that talent accordingly. During the summer before my sophomore year, I played on a traveling team, which took me several times to East Cobb, Georgia. Competing at that level only fueled my dreams. After transferring during my Junior year, my first at bat yielded my first home run being a Ranger, and what a feeling that was. I completed last season with three. There's nothing quite like hitting the lead run, making the seemingly impossible play, or supporting my team with a bird's eye view from the dugout. I want to be the clutch player a coach turns to in key situations knowing I will deliver, but most importantly is my education. It becomes more relevant everyday just how important an education is, and I would love to be a collegiate student-athlete successfully. I really appreciate you taking the time to read this.
