Ever since I was little I have played basketball, and baseball I was 4 years old to be exact. It's been a life long goal to play baseball at the next level. I have always had a passion for baseball and have always been good at it. I remember my grandpa telling me, " son you got potential and nothing more would make me happy than to see you play college ball ". I have let that be my motivation because I want my grandpa to look at me and just knowing I made him proud would be a blessing.
I am proud to say that I try to serve my community in every way I can. In school outside of sports I am in FBLA, FCCLA, Math Club, Spanish Club, and English Club. I love being a role model to younger kids and helping them and teaching them in every way I know how. I am the oldest of 5 kids so I try setting a good example for my brothers, and sisters.
My awards that I have achieved throughout my high school career. This last season in basketball I made all district, MVP, Most Rebounds, Most Deflections, Highest Point Average. In baseball last season I was 2nd best batting average on the team as a sophomore. This season I ended up at the end batting .440 with only 6 errors out of 35 games on 1st base. I also played football for 4 years. I made all district as a sophomore in football as well.
Sports to me has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. It has keep me out of trouble, keep me fit, and in shape, but not only that it has taught me some very great things that will carry me in life. It has taught me how to get along with others, there is no I in TEAM, you have to have a team to achieve a goal not one individual is good enough to win championships. I have realized that and that is why I try and help my team out as much as I can. Everytime I step out on the field I play as if I were playing my last game, because your not promised another one. I give it my all, and at the end of the day win or lose knowing I gave it my all makes me feel great.
I will conclude in saying any calls, text, or emails you coaches send me will be greatly appreciated! Thanks for giving me this great opportunity and hope to talk to you all (that are interested in me) soon.
