July 2014 Pitchin...Personal Statement
I have always excelled both on and off of the baseball field. In the classroom, I am a straight-A student and I understand the value and importance of getting an education. I am a very cerebral baseball player. I know what is going on at all times and I am ready for any possible situation. I am not the athletic beast that stands out physically on the ballfield; however, I am a competitor. When the game is on the line, I want to be the one on the mound or the one at the plate.
I take my work very seriously and I have a high work ethic. I play spring, summer, and fall baseball and I work out during the winter. I take the most rigorous courses available at my school and I excel in all subjects. I know that I am not always going to be the most athletic guy on the field, but I will outwork anyone else.
