Personal Statement
Ever since I was a young child I have played sports. Whether it be in the backyard playing with my brothers or on the field in the State Playoffs, I believe playing sports develops some of the most essential characteristics you need in life. Hard work, dedication, commitment, discipline and sportsmanship are a few of the important ones I have personally learned.
As a team leader, I have tried my hardest and strived to encourage my team mates as well, to not waste any of these moments, but to live these moments and make memories. For me to be able extend these moments and to pursue a position at a collegiate level would be the ultimate opportunity and honor. As I believe that you are given every second on this Earth for a reason and I want to enjoy every moment, every second I am here.
A lifelong goal has been to further my education and to be able to put into action the characteristics that I have learned on the field. Taking the discipline, the hard work and the dedication into the real world and develop my talents to contribute to society in "life" is the ultimate achievement. In the process of this I know that I will need an education that will further my skill set and define me as a young professional.
I strive to be the best I can possibly be in everything, in the classroom or out on the baseball field. It is my personal goal to further my education and while doing this continue to develop the hard work, dedication, commitment, discipline, and sportsmanship I have learned in the game of baseball.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
