Jace Selsor '15 Recruiting Profile

My hard work and commitment have allowed me to excel in the classroom and on the baseball field through my Junior year. I am ranked 59 of 677 students, my GPA is 105.1 and I scored a 31 on the ACT and a 1970 on the SAT. My desire is to continue playing baseball at the collegiate level. I know first hand the demands of collegiate athletes (my brother was a two-way D1 baseball player and played in the Minor Leagues for the Washington Nationals). I am confident in my abilities to excel on the baseball field as well as in the classroom at the collegiate level.  I know the game, love to play the game and know I can make a difference for the team that gives me the chance to succeed. I am a very strong left-handed hitter with exceptional plate discipline. I am a two way player, my defensive skills are strongest at 1st base, where I have played my whole life and I am also a left handed pitcher. I also have the ability to play outfield. I am dedicated to the game and will work as hard as I can to succeed by doing things such as lifting, hitting, throwing and running everyday, continually working every aspect of the game to get better and be the best.
