Patrick Wardlaw '16 Recruiting Profile

Since I was four, baseball has been an important part of my life.  For me, no other sport allows me a better opportunity to contribute to the team’s success and my own individual goals.  I have consistently led teams, from little league to select baseball, with base stealing, batting, and fielding.  Coaches often describe me as a quiet leader.  I have played multiple positions, but mostly shortstop, centerfield, second base, and catcher.  I am ambidextrous and switch-hit.  My goal is to find a good fit with a college where I can earn a respectable degree and continue playing the sport I love.  I will practice hard and play hard for my college team.  I suppose my foreign language teacher recently described me best when he wrote my parents “(Patrick) is mature, responsible, and confident.”  Thank you for reviewing my baseball profile.
