Personal Statement
When I step on the mound I love the feeling of knowing that I am the center of attention and that I can make or break any game at any time. But I also know that without my team behind me I wouldn’t be nearly as successful, because I have learned that over the past 14 years that its not one player that makes the team, it’s the bond and the brotherhood of the team that helps them succeed. When I think of baseball I think of my whole life. It’s what I did growing up as a kid and our vacations consisted of tournaments and icing my arm. I hope that I will be able to accomplish my dream, which is playing at the next level with a team that will help me with my weaknesses and improve them and my strengths.
I plan on getting my degree in either the computer science field or in a mechanical engineering field. I am a leader on and off the field and I am accountable for any actions that I make. I don’t except any effort less than a 100%. I am a great student in the classroom and try my best to get all my work done when it’s due. I show nothing but respect to my superiors and am always willing to listen. I can communicate with anyone and can get along with any type of personality. I am very caring and respectable of others around me and will do anything for anyone. I have learned to become a very coachable athlete and I am always willing to hear what the coaches have to say to help me improve.
