Personal Statement
Growing up,I've always had a dream and a desire to become the best I can be in the game of baseball. I'll do whatever it takes to make it to the next level, whether it is putting in the extra hours in the weight room, going to clinics, I will do it. In the weight room, I give it my 100% at all times without backing down or giving in. I constantly will do drills to improve arm strength in all positions, catching, base-running, and hitting. I know I am not the biggest guy on the field, but with my progress in the weight room and my time with the drills, I've became a different ball player. I don't want coaches to just look at me as this baseball player only, but also a good student and a friend to others. I am taking honors and concurrent enrollment classes to become successful in my academics when baseball doesn't go my way. I have struggle with school, but with the help of my family, friends, and other coaches I am able to excel in my goals.
