Personal Statement

My name is Jordan Moore. All of my friends and family call me "JoJo". I am 16 and currently a Junior, Class of 2015, at Glen Allen High School. I am on the Varsity baseball team at Glen Allen. My primary position is catcher. I can also play infield or outfield (utility). I attend the Specialty Center at Glen Allen and plan to further my education by attending a successful university. My hobbies include playing the game of baseball, learning about the different aspects of the game, weight lifting, and also spending time with family and friends. I am an extremely hard worker, and work on improving my game each day. My ultimate goal is to play baseball at the collegiate level. While attending college, I plan on majoring in Sports Marketing, Sports Management, or Finance. I have major goals that I have established for myself since I was 10 years old. I plan these specific goals because I want to be a successful young man and make my future as prosperous as it can be.  I also plan to have a great family and have a successful business career. I have many accomplishments and accolades that I pride myself on, such as being a captain, obtaining MVP awards,  and also being an honor role athletic player. I currently have a 3.9 G.P.A at Glen Allen High School while taking mostly all honors classes and rigorous AP courses. I also participate in many extra curricular activities such as community service, clubs, organizations, and tutoring programs. Throughout my baseball and academic career my family has supported me tremendously. I also have a recruiting website which is- www.jordanmoorebaseball.yolasite.com where you can find personal information, academic honors, clubs, athletic honors, accolades, videos, and pictures. It is very important to me as a student athlete to attend a school that has a strong baseball program, great personal coaches, and strong academics.
